Day 1
Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly received by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Rest after your journey and enjoy views of Mount Meru or take a short city tour if time allows. Arusha is your launching point into the wild heart of Africa.
Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Spend the day on thrilling game drives along the Tarangire River, which attracts large numbers of wildlife including buffaloes, wildebeests, lions, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. In the evening, settle into your lodge or tented camp surrounded by nature.
Day 3
Tarangire to Serengeti – Into the Endless Plains
Today’s journey takes you through the stunning highlands and into Serengeti National Park, a place synonymous with African wildlife. Along the way, enjoy scenic stops and optional visits to a Maasai village or Olduvai Gorge. Full Day Safari in Serengeti – Wildlife Spectacle
Explore the vast plains of Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration or observe lions, cheetahs, and elephants roaming freely. Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – Scenic Escape
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying game sightings along the way. Stop for a cultural experience at a local Maasai boma before reaching your lodge on the crater rim. Spend the evening relaxing with panoramic views of this ancient volcanic caldera.
Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Fly to Zanzibar
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari in one of the most wildlife-rich locations in Africa. Spot rare black rhinos, lions, elephants, flamingos, and more. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, ascend the crater and drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach resort for dinner and a peaceful night by the sea.
Day 7
Zanzibar – Stone Town Tour & Spice Experience
Today, head to Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a cultural and historical walking tour. Discover the Old Fort, House of Wonders, narrow alleys, bustling markets, and the former slave market. Later, visit a nearby spice plantation to see, smell, and taste cloves, vanilla, cardamom, and more. Return to your beach resort in the afternoon for relaxation.
Day 8
Zanzibar – Day at Leisure by the Ocean
Enjoy a full day at leisure on Zanzibar’s pristine beaches. Swim in the turquoise waters, take a stroll on the powdery sands, or opt for optional activities like snorkeling, diving, dolphin tours, or a sunset dhow cruise. This is your time to relax and absorb the serenity of the island.
Day 9
Departure – Until Next Time
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a final beachside breakfast or a quick swim before being transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward journey. Your adventure ends here, but the memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and Zanzibar’s charm will stay with you forever.
