Day 1
Arusha – Ngorongoro Highlands
Depart Arusha in the morning and journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Stop at cultural or scenic viewpoints en route. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your lodge surrounded by misty forest and rolling hills.
Overnight at a lodge in Karatu or on the crater rim

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a high chance to see rhinos, lions, hyenas, buffalo, and more in a compact ecosystem. After lunch, continue to the Serengeti, enjoying game drives along the way.
