Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you’ll be warmly greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Nestled at the base of Mount Meru, Arusha is the starting point for most northern circuit safaris. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the lodge or explore nearby markets and craft shops.
Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Baobabs and Wildlife
Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its dense elephant population and towering baobab trees. Spend the day on game drives in search of zebras, giraffes, lions, and countless bird species. A picnic lunch in the bush adds to the immersive safari experience. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park – Into the Wild
Today you journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic highlands and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive across its seemingly endless plains. Keep your camera ready for cheetahs, lions, and massive herds of wildebeest. Overnight in a lodge or tented camp in central Serengeti.
Day 4
Full Day in Serengeti – The Heart of the Safari
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with both morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, you may witness the incredible Great Migration or spot predators stalking their prey. Enjoy a picnic lunch under an acacia tree or return to the lodge for a hot meal. The day ends with a stunning sunset over the savannah.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro – Crater Rim ViewsSerengeti to Ngorongoro – Crater Rim Views
After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, depart toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, stop at a Maasai village for a cultural visit, learning about their traditions and way of life. Arrive at your lodge perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, where sweeping views await. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater – Nature’s Wonder
Today you descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife experience. The crater floor is a haven for diverse species including black rhinos, hippos, lions, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool before continuing your game drive. In the late afternoon, drive to Arusha for overnight or stay near the airport.
Day 7
Fly to Zanzibar – Beach Bliss Begins
Catch a morning flight from Arusha Airport to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your beach resort on the island’s idyllic north or east coast. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the Indian Ocean, sipping a drink, and watching the waves roll in.
Day 8
Departure – Farewell Tanzania
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some final moments in paradise before being transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward journey. You’ll leave with lasting memories of Africa’s majestic wildlife and island serenity.
